“I’m pregnant! I can do anything! So, while I was snooping, I found a conversation between him and Matheus where he says he wants to move, have a place just for us, without so many staff. He even said he’s scared of Alfred.”

“Vanessa, I get him; I would never live in a house like yours. You have more staff than walls.”

“I inherited this house from my grandmother; most of the staff live there with their families. I can’t just send them away.”

“I understand. So, what are you going to do?”

“I love seeing the confused look on his face, trying to say something while I provoke him. But I think it’s time we had that conversation, though I won’t bring up the subject! Or maybe I’ll interrupt him just to see his reaction.”

“I feel sorry for Anthony!”

“Feel sorry for me? Why?”

Anthony entered and kissed Vanessa’s belly.

“Vanessa was telling me that pregnancy hormones are messing with her.”

“Aaargh, that!”

“Go get changed; let’s watch
