Chapter 7
Alanna entered her office energetically and was immediately questioned by Charlotte.
“Are you feeling better, ma’am?”
“I’m not sick, Charlotte. I need coffee and some toast, cheese, cake, jam. I’m in a good mood!”
“Right away.”
“Did Mr. Styles and the team arrive?”
“Yes, they’re in the meeting room.”
“Thanks, Charlotte. I’ll have my coffee there.”
“Okay.”
Alanna entered the room with a serious expression, carrying some folders. Charlotte followed shortly after with a tray of food. As soon as Alanna placed her coffee on the table, she picked up her phone to check the message she had just received.
Matheus: Did you sleep well?
Alanna: Absolutely great. I bought new sleepwear, really comfortable.
Alanna mischievously sent Matheus a photo of the outfit.
Matheus: Fuck, Alanna!!! Are you trying to kill me?
Alanna laughed as she spread jam on a piece of toast.
Alanna: Isn’t it lovely? Oh my, it’s so comfort
