Chapter 82

Yana’s POV

We all gathered at a long table, with Ken sitting by the aisle and the rest of the members occupying random seats on both sides. I found myself seated on the corner of the table, on the right side of Ken, while Ethan sat opposite me. Yuri sat beside him, followed by Cedric in front of Yuri, Kris next to Cedric, Irvin in front of Kris, Paul beside Irvin, and so on, until the seating arrangement was complete with Justin sitting at the opposite end of Francis.

Soon enough, our food arrived, and everyone eagerly dug in. It was amusing to witness the sudden silence that descended upon the group, with the only sound being the clinking of utensils against plates.

After a while, I began to hear the distinct sound of burps filling the air. Glancing at my wristwatch, I was astonished to realize that we had waited nearly 20 minutes for the food to arrive, only for everyone to finish eating within a mere ten minutes.
