Elizabeth tapped her fingernails on the table as she listened to Me Smith rant about his proposal. He had invited her so she could help him with his plans on how to ask Victoria to be his girlfriend.

He spoke with joy in his heart as he explained his entire plans to her. She wished she was the reason behind his smile. She didn't like that he was smiling because of another woman and it hurt her to her bone.

While she managed to keep her facial expression blank, within her, she was burning. Her chest tightened and her stomach churned. She was in pain. She was trying to look happy for him but ended up failing because if he hadn't been too oblivious, he would have sent her.
