Chapter 43

A smile formed on Mathews face as he looked at Victoria who lied beside him happily on the bed. He felt at ease just staring at her until the words of Elizabeth resurfaced in his memory.

'Victoria is mentally unstable, one minutes she's fine and another minute she's not. Who is why I want you to do something about it. She's my best friend and I am very worried for her. You don't know how hard it is for me to look at her everyday and not be able to help her," she cried out.

His heart clenched. Why was he just knowing all of this? Why wasn't he told about this at all? Why was she just telling him and how true was it? He wanted to believe her but then he was afraid.

He couldn't be dating a mentally unstable person and there was nothing of such in her report.
