Chapter 6

Have you ever been in a state where you are bitten yet you feel no pain? That state where nothing matters and nothing hurts? Yes, numb; that would be how you'd describe Elizabeth state.

She had not blinked her eyes since last night. She had not been able to sleep. She lied on her back all through and looked at the ceiling with her hands on her stomach. She had cried to the point tears were no longer coming out from her eyes to express her pain. Everything was dark to her and she looked for help.

Victoria joyfully came into Elizabeth's room with a beaming smile on her face. She couldn't wait anymore to tell her friend what had happened to her last night with Mr Smith.

When she came to look at Elizabeth, she saw her sleeping on her bed already so she closed her door gently and went to sleep. It was almost twelve last night when she came back home. She couldn't even close her eyes without remembering what happened.
