Christopher had just finished with one of his usual disgusting sessions with Amber and was lying on the bed when he got a message. He unwrapped his arms from around Amber’s sleeping body, turned over and reached for the device charging on his side table.

Subtle sun light bounced on the screen of his phone, peaking through cracks of the window’s blinds.
