Chapter 41. Making Him Pay Painfully

Roxanne stirred at the photos in horror.

For a few seconds, she felt her heart leave her body, before it was forcefully slammed back into her chest, causing the blonde to gasp.

How had those pictures gotten here? No, more importantly, who had taken those pictures?!

She felt her hands tremble and her eyes flutter.

“Colton...” She could only mutter out the name of the man kneeling in front of her, picture in his hand.

Seconds passed by and he was silent.

“Are these you, Roxanne?” Colton asked, finally breaking the silence that hung between them. Roxanne felt her insides squeeze up.

How was she going to answer that question. And even if she did, what would Colton think of.
