Chapter 276. Cue the Action!

At first, he had not been in any real pain and had been more focused on his father but as soon as he saw the metal that had pierced his stomach and the blood that was leaking out of the wound, everything became so real as he was pushed into agony. 

Nate groaned in pain as hot tears rolled down his stomach. He looked back at his father and saw that the man was not moving at all. “Please,” He prayed to the Moon goddess that the man would be fine. 

He had just gotten back his father after years of losing the man to mental illness, he did not want to lose him again. Not when he had just gotten him back. Hot tears rolled down his face and then he heard a sound coming from outside. 

It sounded like another car was coming their way. Maybe his prayers had been answered. He tried to get a view of the vehicle but could not really get a good look. He tried his best to remain calm and still, not wanting to make things worse. 

He swallowed and felt more tears
