Chapter 293. Revenge: Finding Damion

Vanessa was speechless, not really knowing what to say. And that was because she knew that the omega was right. She knew that if Maddie had just stayed away from Nate from the very beginning, all of this would have not happened. 

“It was all a cannon effect,” Vanessa said. This was something that her therapist had told her not too long ago. It was something that stayed with her and helped her when she was going through hard times. 

Maddie scrunched up her face in confusion. “What does that even mean?” 

“That means that it is a moment in development that will help shape your life or personality. It had to happen. It was all part of your story, and will all make you into who you are to be in the end.” 

The omega took a few seconds to mentally chew on this. She nodded slowly as she continued to process this. “Well, that’s a way to look at things.” Her voice was very soft and breathy. 

“Mm-hmm…I too have made some terrible mistakes in my l
