Lyra’s POV

“Do it then,” Lucian said. He stared at me blankly, nonchalantly. It looked like he did not care that I was pointing a knife at his chest, like he couldn’t give a fuck about the fact that I am actually trying to…going to kill him. With his hand hanging horizontally by his side, he walked closer to me. My hands began to shake, the knife felt too heavy for me, the thought felt very inconceivable, like i was a fool to have thought of ever hurting him.

“Do it Lyra or you might never get this chance again,” he said. His hands horizontal by his side, with no defense whatsoever he moved closer to the knife, closer to me and my murderous intent.
