Chapter 38. Shane and Noelle

Noelle was sleeping soundly next to Shane, snoring slightly with her mouth open. He grinned and kissed her softly on her pillowy lips before sliding carefully out of bed so he wouldn’t wake her. He loved that she snored. That she wasn’t completely perfect. For days they had stayed mostly in bed, reacquainting their bodies, taking breaks to go visit Robert who was improving daily but taking his doctor’s advice to slow down his busy life and focus less on work and more on enjoying every day like it was his last. 

Robert approved wholeheartedly of the whirlwind romance between Shane and Noelle, seeing the man who was desperate to make his daughter happy, and not letting Shane’s past put any shade over their bright future together. He respected Shane as a businessman. Respected his work ethics and his honest approach both to his clients and life in general.
