Chapter 44. Adult Fairy Tale

Leo continued to gently stroke Alana's head while she slept soundly in his embrace. For some reason, Leo found it hard to close his eyes. The image of Alana saving him still filled his mind. Leo sighed deeply several times, unsure of what he would feel if something bad happened to his wife.
