Niyol’s POV

I held her hand firmly, taking her with me to the car. I didn’t want my subordinates to hear our conversation.

And going to the office would make it worse because I didn’t know how I was going to control my anger.

“Get lost!” I barked at the driver.

He immediately fled from my presence, seeing how angered I was.

“Let’s talk in the car, Mother,” I said, not looking at her.

I stepped into the car, waiting patiently for her to get in. Patience has never being one of my virtue when I am extremely angry. But I had to give her the leverage because she is my mother.

I watched her getting in the car, her face filled with anger too. Really? Was she getting angry at me?

“Why can’t we speak in the office?” she asked.

“Do you really want to speak in the office?” I asked her, getting more angry.

“Never mind. I already told you what I want,” she said, obviously understanding what I meant.
