It’s been a month since I last saw my mate. I knew I was supposed to be back a little later, but I had to wrap things up quickly to see her.

“Alpha, what are we going to do about the merger tomorrow? Why don’t you just wait till after the contract display? It won’t look good if you are not present,” Chester tried to convince me to stay back a little.
