Sky's POV

On the right side of me, my father and I stand together at the edge of the pack's land. As I gaze out at the trees, I consciously refrain from looking at him, intentionally disregarding my father's attempts to catch my attention by calling my name.

“Can you please tell me if you have any plans to remove the poisonous chains, at the very least? Can you grant me a fighting chance out there?” He asks. Once again, I choose to disregard his presence and fix my gaze upon the obscurity that lies beneath the foliage. “SKY.”
