“Do you have to bring that with you?” Avita wondered hopelessly as she saw Beth load some items that didn’t appear to be necessary. 

“You don’t understand,” Beth said apologetically to her buddy, nodding furiously, “I couldn’t survive without them!” 

Avita decided to leave her alone after witnessing her behavior. After all, all that mattered was that she was pleased. The gang was finally leaving on that friends’ outing with Anna, so they were busy packing their belongings. 

After a while, the two of them finished and returned to their car, which was parked in the apartment parking lot. Because Beth was a Malebume resident, she was plainly the one driving, while Avita was simply enjoying the trip.
