Arnold didn’t want to risk it because he didn’t trust Avita or anything, but because he was aware of the potential consequences.

‘I am still young, and I can find someone who loves and cares for me. Someone like Felicia will do,’ he conceded as he threw Avita out of his father’s arms. 

Miguel chuckled fiercely as he glanced at the empty wardrobe in Thandani. There was not a single trace of Avita anywhere in the house. Even the chickens had gone missing, which was really upsetting. 

The residence appeared spotless, with no evidence of a break-in or forced entrance. He surveyed the room till he removed the cushions, just to see what would happen. A folded letter was found under one of the pillows. He picked it up with mixed emotions. 

With so much transpirin
