Chapter 14. Who Is She?

William’s POV

I saw Amelia come out of the kitchen. She was about to talk when I had a high-pitched voice calling my name behind me.

Oh, I know that voice and I have not heard it for a long time now. Mia.

I turned to look at her in surprise and no doubt, I was surprised Leo came with her as well.

I turned back to look at Amelia and I saw her taking her purse.

I was about to talk when I heard Mia's footsteps behind me. Oh God!

"William! I have been calling you for a while", she whined and I just rolled my eyes.

Mia took her seat on one of the dining chairs; the one on my right to be precise and Leo walked over as well.

I turned my head back to look for her. She might have gone to the sitting room to give us someplace but I did not see her anywhere in the sitting room.

She was gone.

The door confirmed my thoughts as it closed steadily. My lips slanted a bit and I turned to face Mia and Leo back.
