Chapter 30. She Is Your Girlfriend, Isn't She?

Amelia's POV

William's Mom made me sit beside William at one side of the long table. Mia and Leo sat on the other side and William's Mom sat at the head of the table. We sat more closer to her though with William on her right hand side and Leo on the left hand side. We had lunch in peace that way with no one saying a thing.

Good table manners, if you would ask me.

I could not help but notice the show of public affection between Leo and Mia during lunch though. For example, how he kept placing more side dishes in Mia plate and the sweet smile she would always give him after.

I had turned to look at William to see if he saw them as well but the man just kept eating like he had not eaten all day. I rolled my eyes at him.

I looked at William's Mom and I caught her looking back and forth between William and me. I shivered. Really creepy.

When she was about to take a peep at me again, I quickly looked down and continued eating my food.
