Amelia's POV

William's mother walked into my room and she looked around it as she walked. She suddenly stopped and turned to look at me.

"Does William come here occasionally?", she asked with all seriousness written on her face and my lips twitched.

What does she mean?

"N- no, ma'am", I said as I coughed. This is a really awkward position that I am in. I feel so embarrassed even though I know William hasn't been here a few times before.

"Calm down, I was just joking", she said as she laughed and walked to the bed before sitting on its edge.

"You should see your face, it's really red right now", she said and I immediately knew she was teasing me.
