Chapter 37. Money Is Made to Be Spent

Amelia's POV

Mirabel and I walked towards the salon and she whispered something to the hair stylist. He nodded his head in understanding before he moved closer to me to start working on my hair.

After about half an hour later, I was done and the nail technicians worked on my nails.

We finally went out of the salon and Mirabel swiped the card again.

I stared at my just painted nails and I smiled. It looks really good.

Mirabel and I walked out of the mall and dumped all the shopping bag in the back seat of the car.

"Am I the only one who is really hungry?", Mirabel asked as soon as we were settled on our seats inside the car.

"I am not hungry though", I said and my stomach quickly betrayed me as it made a rumbling sound.

"So much for you not being hungry", Mirabel said with a grin and I smiled awkwardly before placing my hand on my stomach.

Now I can't even avoid spending more money outside on food, all thanks to this stomach.
