Chapter 41. I Am Sorry

Amelia's POV

I got into the house and a helpless sigh escaped my lips. I wonder what he wants to talk about now.

"Oh Amelia!", Mary called out and I looked up at her.

"Would you like to have your breakfast now?", she asked and I nodded.

"Yes thank you, Mary", I replied and she smiled before disappearing or 'escaping' into the kitchen.

I am just coming downstairs after having a quick nap in the afternoon. I looked up at the time and my eyes went wide. It's almost dinner time already. I guess I took a really long nap.

The front door opened and I saw William walking in. He looks stressed out.

"Hey", he said when he reached my front.

"Hey", I replied back

"Let me take a quick shower and we can have dinner together", he said and I just stared at him.

He smiled awkwardly before walking up the stairs.

I stared at his back before taking a sharp breath.
