Saturday morning

I walked out of my office when I was done with the files of the morning. Amelia was typing away on the computer and I watched her for some time before knocking on her table.

"Yes?", she asked as she stood up immediately.

"I am going out of the office", I said and she nodded.

"Okay Sir", she replied and I frowned.

"You don't care about where I am going?", I asked and she furrowed her brows.

"Do I need to?", she started and I quickly cut her off.

"What if someone important comes looking for me?!", I shouted and she looked at me in surprise.

"Wh- where would you tell them I went to?", I added, keeping my voice at its normal volume this time around.

"Oh, where are you going to, sir?", she asked with a smile and I sighed as I pushed my hands into my pockets.

"I am going to Mateo's office, take- take care of the office", I said, clearing my throat awkwardly and she smiled again as she talked.<
