Chapter 76. Hilary Likes William

Amelia's POV

Still on Sunday (chuckles).

The three of us are seated in the same positions we were in the afternoon when we were having the pancakes.

"Don't you have a maid, William?", Hilary asked as she served herself.

"She does not work on Sundays", William replied sternly.

I guess he does not like the sound of someone calling Mary a maid.

"Oh", Hilary replied before sitting down on her seat and starting to eat her food.

I was about to start eating my dinner as well when William suddenly talked.

"Eat the grapes first, Amy", he said and I looked at him with a frown.

"What?", I asked as I looked up at him and he raised an eyebrow at me as he talked.

"Come on, try them", he said again and I looked at Hilary.

She was also looking at me, waiting for me to eat the grapes. I guess.

I picked one up from the bowl in the middle of the dining table and ate it.
