Chapter 21

Pearl was just rounding up the last documents she had to email to her father when her phone rang once and ended. 

She picked it up and checked to see who it was. The number made her heart skip a beat and a smile slowly spread across her face. 

It was time.

She emailed the documents and finished up her duties for the night, most of which was just her planning out the next work day in her office journal.

Humming a merry tune to herself, she walked out of the large office building and to her car in the parking lot. The night was cold and dark but she didn't mind it as she had more important things on her mind. She got into her car and drove off at an ungodly speed as if all hell was after her.

On getting to her house, it was almost nine p.m. She got into the house and went straight to her room. There she dialed back the number that had called her.

"You have five minutes." She said sternly and ended the call before the person on the other si
