Malia walked to her car and got in. She grabbed the steering wheel, exhaling heavily. 

After meeting her father in the garden and having him threaten her, she hadn't been herself.

She couldn't believe that her father had just threatened to disown her if she didn't love her husband. She knew her father was terrible and didn't exactly care for her, but she didn't expect this level of animosity.

Did he even love her at all? Was she even his daughter? How could he threaten her with something so....personal?

She hit the steering wheel and screamed in frustration. Her head was throbbing and her stomach was growling. She felt exhausted, her eyes barely staying open so much that she had to leave her office in the middle of the work day.
