Malia rummaged through her bags, searching for the one that had the flash drive. She frantically turned things upside down in her closet, flinging aside the ones that weren't useful to her.

She was in a race against time. And she had to leave this place before Grant returned from work. She had thrown her passport, some cash, and a burner phone Caspian had delivered to her.

She looked around her closet, doing a mental rundown of all she had to pack. She had the most essential things: money, her phone, and her passport if need be to leave the country. If she needed anything else, she would have to buy it.

Her phone rang as she was preparing to leave the closet. It was an unknown number. She picked up the call.

"Malia?" The person on the other end spoke. 

"Andrew," Malia whispered fiercely. "I'm on my way."

"That's why I'm calling you. There's been a change in my location. I'll send the new location to you now."
