Chapter 78
The moment the cab pulled into the parking lot of the hotel, Malia was already rushing out of the car, handing the driver a couple of dollar bills.
"Keep the change." She said and raced off, heading to the hotel property.
She got to the lobby, panting and out of breath. She spotted Andrew up ahead, pacing and glancing at his phone at intervals. Malia rushed up to him. He saw her and met her halfway across the lobby.
"What happened?" He asked, his sharp eyes surveying her face. He saw the palm print on her neck and his eyes widened. "Did he do this to you?"
"It's not important, okay? We have to go now!"
He nodded and grabbed her wrist. "Let's go."
They hurried to the supposed room he'd booked, which turned out to be a suite. He locked the door behind her.
"Don't worry," He said. "It's safe here."
