Chapter 54. Lunch
I wandered my eyes around the office. The room was dark because the curtains covered the windows. There’s nothing in this room except the lounge and the coffee table, the working table and the two chairs on the front.
The table was clean, so as the royal blue wall that has no displays and hanging frames.
I heard the door opened and closing, and the gentle strides walking towards me. I didn’t have the chance to turn when he talked behind me.
“How was your sleep?” a familiar voice lingered through my ear.
I was nailed into my place. My entire body tensed up, I could feel sweats drenching all over my skin and my blood pulsing through my veins.
I shut my eyes up, unable to answer him. Instead, I quickly faced to ask him but my tongue stiffened at his playful smile.
He looked very fresh and handsome in his white long sleeve polo with black trouser suit, and his butter soft leather shoes.
