I stared at my reflection in the mirror, my eyes red, face blotchy, nose filled with snot… A flawless performance.
“She won’t survive this,” I whispered to my reflection.
Emily thought she could walk back into this family, into this company, and take what was mine but she forgot one thing.
I always win.
I had Mum and Dad wrapped around my finger, Wesley tied to me with devotion, and now even the employees were whispering about Emily’s so-called affair with the president.
All I needed to do was push a little more, and she would break completely.
My phone buzzed, it was a message from Lydia.
Lydia: She’s gone. Got into a car and they zoomed off. Should I follow?
