Chapter 198

“Kate!” exclaimed a shocked Gwen as she tried to take a step toward her sister. Steve suddenly grabbed Gwen’s elbows and pulled her to his chest. Then he kissed her for a very long time.

“I’m still going to…” insisted Gwen before Steve once again pressed his lips to hers.

“Okay, I get the hint,” whispered Gwen. “I won’t say anything to Kate now. At least not if you keep kissing me like that. I’m still pretty pissed at her. I’ll give her a piece of my mind when we get home.”

Then Gwen proceeded to wrap her arms around Steve’s neck and kiss him back. Kate looked on in embarrassment as her anger ebbed. What had she just done? It was now painfully obvious that she had made a serious mistake assuming that Steve would allow her anything, and everything she asked.
