Carter's pov

I didn't realize how big of a deal it was to Dermot until she stopped speaking to me. I almost said it was childish but I found myself boiling with rage at the thought of her spending time with Benson.

The same guy who refused to sell me the house, he said he disliked me for some reason but he didn't say and yet, she was meeting with him.

Yeah, no I was pissed but I couldn't say it because I know she was still pissed at me. I didn't see what the big deal is and Ben joined her in the ruse.

There was nothing wrong with in taking her assistant to buy a cheeseburger for the movie, she couldn't have been watching us eat ours. Now, I am watching the movie alone while she conversed with my best friend about it, leaving me completely out of the loop.

I have been trying to tell Carter with my eyes to help me but either he was clueless or he just wanted me to suffer a little.
