Dermot's pov
I stared at the cellphone in my hands like it was a torturing device, anyone else would if they received a group text.
Earlier, I got a text from Devlin's friends asking to meet up, I scoffed at the idea. Standing them up and not replying to any of their questions was enough to make them run to ask for my presence.
It's so pathetic, but I guess Devlin would like to hang out with her likes. Always seeking constant validation and attention from people that don't value them. I cussed them severally in my head and I decided to go.
I would love to see firsthand what these girls are like, are they as awful as I described them, or have I judged them a little too quickly. It would be the latter. It has to be.
