The days at the factory sorting out all the new and old files were very exhausting for Darcy but knew she couldn't slack so she gave her the best and kept herself busy as Gale was bust in the office with his new team of workers he had flown down from Ireland, so they didn't have any interaction with each other that week and it was already midweek by the time Darcy realised she had very less to prepare for the competition and on top of that the investigator she had hired was getting closer to Louis' case so she wanted to travel sooner than expected before the competition began and talk to him.

Darcy wanted to talk to someone but she knew Kay had gone out of station so the next afternoon, not quite knowing why she should seek her out when they had grown so far apart these past few months, but conscious of a need for companionship greater than any she had ever known, Shelly had always been a good friend and their recent estrangement might be nothing more than a figment of her own
