Chapter 30

Kelman had just left the room when Evana's parents entered the room. she was scared of her parents because if they caught Kelman right-handed then she would be in big trouble.

 But thankfully he was gone when they entered the room, she tried to compose herself and said. “I'm just thirsty can you pass me a glass of water, Mom?”

 “Sure honey, but where is your cousin? Isn’t she taking care of you?” Evana’s mother grumbled dissatisfaction when she did not see Fiona in the room.

 “Mom Fiona has gone to get something for me to eat as I was feeling very hungry,” Evana added quickly. If her mother came to know that Fiona had gone to meet Nikolas, she would be grounded for weeks. and Evana couldn't let that happen.

 “I'm so sorry that we are late honey. you must be really hungry come on sit up and have your dinner. I have prepared chicken soup, drink it slowly till I serve your dinner. Your dad got stuck in the traffic so we arrived late.”
