Chapter 29

Kelman’s seductive voice sent shivers down her spine. The heat coming from Kelman enveloped Evana, and she couldn’t resist him.

“No, I did not. I just saw your quilt was falling, so I came to tug it in.” Evana lied.

“Aha..is that so?” A faint smile appeared at the corners of Kelman’s mouth.

"I am so touched, Evana; you came from your room with your crippled leg to tug my blanket.”

He held her fingers firmly as if he would only stop until someone barged in and caught them righthanded doing something bad.

Evana couldn't wait to pull her hands away from his, but what a pity he held it very tightly, and she couldn't take her away.

Her ear lobes had turned a little read. She turned away her face and said in a muffled voice. “What do you think I'm doing, Kelman? I just came to check on you, and when I saw the blanket had fallen, I wanted to tuck it in.”

She felt a little guilty at the end of her explanation.
