Chapter 55. Pride and Love (3)

We climb the stairs of the immense house and soon come across numerous sculptures, many of them created by Stiven, with reserved signs underneath.

JaeMin observes each one and seems captivated by them all. His focus is on the ones that are still available, and it doesn't take long for him to find three very similar sculptures.

One extends a ring, another holds a purse, and the third one is free, as if her dress is flowing in the wind.

"These are the ones," he says.

"They're beautiful, love," I say, watching him analyze the prices. "And expensive, whoa, thirty thousand?"

"I've sold paintings for even higher prices that I thought were worth much less, so believe me, JunKoo, they're worth much more."

I nod at him and watch as he raises his hand to get the attention of one of the women walking around with tablets for buyers to reserve their chosen sculptures.
