MARGA’S POINT OF VIEW

I looked out the car window while we were still driving to have dinner with the team. It was raining so hard. I had already messaged Marco regarding the team dinner, and he replied by telling me to enjoy the night as he would be going home late. I called our nanny to ask how Emi was, and she informed me that my baby is already sleeping. I miss my baby as I seldom left her all day.

As we arrived at the restaurant, Maya ordered a lot of food and drinks to celebrate and to thank all of us for being part of her team. It was a happy night with them, I enjoyed it although it was tiring. The whole team cheered as we drank some wine. As the night ended, Maya offered to drive me back home as I told her that Marco will be going home late tonight, I gladly accept her offer as I was too tired to commute on the way home.

“Thanks for offering me a ride, Maya. It was a hassle to commute with this heavy rain,” I said, really appreciating her kindness.
