MARCO’S POINT OF VIEW
I woke up early, and let Marga sleep more in our room. As I went outside, I saw mom at the balcony having her cup of coffee with dad.
“Good morning,” I greeted them as I sat next to them.
“You’re up early. How was your therapy yesterday?” mom asked me.
“It’s bad. I’m having a hard time, I’m tired of using this wheelchair. I cannot wait to walk on my own, it’s making me lose my temper whenever I am not doing well in my therapy,” I said in my frustration.
“Relax yourself, honey. It takes time, just be grateful you still have your leg,” mom said.
“I know, mom. I am giving my one hundred percent for this therapy and a hundred percent of patience for myself. Trust me, it’s not easy,” I sighed.
“You can do it, son,” dad patted me on my shoulder. “I heard you had a date night or let’s say a movie night with Marga,” dad smiled at me when he mentioned it.
“Yeah. It’s calming when she’s around, and I miss her all day,” I ch
