Chapter 36. Assault on Home Grounds

Aurel woke up from his sleep, his eyes blinked and he was stunned to find that the side of the bed was empty without the figure of his husband accompanying him. His iris caught a piece of paper on the bed near the bed. A note that apparently was deliberately left by the husband. The contents of the note were only brief, writing that Abi had urgent work outside that required her to go out at this time of night and promised to return soon with a gift. Aurel only smiled faintly, Abi was always like that. It was as if it had become the man's tradition that every time he went out late at night or came home late, the man would give him a gift. Maybe to persuade him not to be angry, maybe not?

After all, all this time he couldn't be angry with the man if Abi always made him fly with her sweet attitude. Every time she gets angry, that's when Abi has her own way of falling in love with that man again. Let's say Aurel loves too much, but who can control his feelings?
