Chapter 29. Who’s at the Door?

“Rick! You are late!” Kelvin frowns. “What’s your excuse?”

Since he became the new director, he has not seen Rick come to work late. Rick was supposed to help him get an interview done an hour ago.

“I am sorry, boss.” Rick hastily apologized. “It wasn’t intentional.”

His face-off with his brother Daryl got brutal like always. They live in the same room but always act like cats and dogs. If not for the intervention of Mia, either he or his brother would have ended up in a box.

“That did not answer my question!” Kelvin lashed out. “What is your excuse?”

He needed to know why Rick would have missed his session this morning. His popular show was up one hour ago but he was nowhere to be found. He’s the host after all and not Kelvin Steve.
