Chapter 35. Losing Love

*** SATURDAY DINNER NIGHT ***

Rick is a nice vampire, better than his brother. So gentle and kind-hearted toward humans. Now he has found love; he’s willing to do all in his power to keep his newfound love.

He leads Nancy to a small round table in a calm restaurant. It was a late hour of the night and a perfect time for dinner. Some of the tables were empty.

He pulls out the chair for Nancy to sit. She sits. Her face was lit with warmth. This has been her desire. Rick sits across from her, smiling softly. The source of light is from a few well-placed candles.

A waitress approaches and, without letting out a word, pours them wine and leaves at once. The menus are sitting right on the table and it’s left for them to pick a choice meal.
