Chapter 31. Stalking Time
Rick wasn’t meant to work late, but when he got a call from Mia informing him of his brother’s decision to walk away, he decided to stay back at work instead of walking in and seeing him pack his stuff.
He loved to see him leave but deep down him, this isn’t the best way or the best time. Fur needs to be put back to his place or he ends up doing more harm to his brother than he has already done in the past by luring him to be a reaper like him.
‘If only I can kill Fur, all this will go away.’ Rick went down in thought, contemplating on how to kill Fur before he ruins his brother’s life or kill Kelvin as he has threatened.
Rick’s phone buzzed continuously. He wasn’t in the mood to take calls now. When he glanced at his phone, he quickly changed his mind. It was Nancy calling.
He hastily picked up the phone, pushing the accept icon.
“Hello dear,” he said.
“Hey,” Nancy said on the other end. “Something weird has happened,” she whispered.
