Chapter 33. Who You Are
“Rise and shine, buddy! Rise and shine!” Rick said, drawing Kelvin’s attention toward him.
The smell of formaldehyde and phenyl was clear as it wafted in the air. This isn’t the hospital and there was something weird about this place, the awful smell. It was the stench of death.
Kelvin opened his eyes to the bright sun rays that shun into the private tomb. When he tried to move, he realized he was locked inside a cage.
“What is the meaning of this?” he frowns at Rick. “Why lock me up like a dog?” His head was still reeling from the interrupted transformation last night.
“Well, you are a wild, beastly dog, and the earlier you know that, the better for you.” Rick moved closer to the cage, focusing his gaze. “You were about to go on a rampage last night, but I stopped you.”
“By locking me inside a cage?” Kelvin growled. He still had no idea of what happened last night. He can easily recall the incidents.
“It’s just for your good.”
