Chapter 79. Not So Long

The look on Rick’s face changed. His face was saddened that such a secret was kept from him.

“I just found out,” Nancy said. “I was about to tell you before Matt interrupted me to tell you about your brother.” She explained further.

Her explanation took away Rick’s sad look. “This explains the pregnancy.”

“Yes,” Nancy concurred. “She said we come from a very powerful can.”

“Where is she now? Perhaps we can find her and…”

Nancy pushed back Rick’s words. “I have been trying her number but can’t reach her.”

“Then we should go to her place.”
