Chapter 89. More Enemies than Friends
With just a flick of her wrist, Mia snapped Ruth’s neck, putting her into an unconscious state. She breathed heavily as she cast her gaze on Daryl.
“You should have left her buried.”
Daryl steeled his failing nerves and sprang up to his feet. His wounds are healed completely. He cast a weird gaze on Mia as if he has seen a ghost. “Where the hell have you been?”
He has not set his eyes on her ever since she skipped town. I had no idea she’d been through hell and just returned. Thanks to Dave, who made it possible.
“I am just coming back from hell,” she said.
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“I will tell you everything you need to know,” she said. Narrowing her gaze on Ruth, she points toward her. “First, we need to get rid of this bitch and put her back where she belongs.”
