Kaelynn’s POV

Many things happened, and I still can't believe I have reunited with my biological mother, who left me behind at the orphanage twenty years ago. And that she's standing beside me right now while cutting vegetables.

A few hours ago, we went to the market and bought a mattress for Danrious and me to sleep on and a cabinet for our clothes and put those inside the small bedroom in this apartment. The place only consists of two bedrooms, one bathroom and toilet, a small living room, a kitchen, and a small balcony where we can hang our wet clothes after washing.

If I compare the size of this apartment to a place where I had gone, the whole area only sums up the entire bedroom of Danrious back at the Lockhart's mansion.

"How do you feel, Runo? Does your body hurt or something?" Mom Rose asked, but I just shook my head at her.

"Not really, but there are times that my body feels heavy and tired," I answered, and she looked at my lower abdomen.
