Gabrielle's POV

I witnessed her astonishment and the blood dripping from her mouth.

"You seem to forget that I'm still here," the man behind her said, and she struggled to turn around.

"I'll take your heart and give it as a gift to my ex-girlfriend who foolishly loved you." Blood gushed from Daniel's mouth as he looked at me, trembling.
