Kidd's POV

I have been locked in this room for several days now, and she hasn't returned to the mansion. Yet, I continue to long for Kaelynn's blood.

What is happening to me? The longer it goes on, the more intense my pain and a*****ion to her blood become.

I used to drink her blood, even though it tasted foul, but now I can't stand it. My condition is worsening, and my appearance is changing.

My transformation becomes more frequent, especially when I haven't had any blood to drink. Now, I'm underground in this mansion, in a hidden room meant for emergencies. It's where our Cross ancestors were buried.

And I think this is where I'll meet my end. Daniel and Danrious keep coming back to guard me. They also provide me with information about Kira's daily activities, whether she's okay, and attending school.

They tell me where she lives and how she funds her expenses. All of this is their way of helping her without her knowledge.
